My name is Pieter J. Huizinga. I am based in Rotterdam, Holland.

I do model- and glamour photoshoots, portrait, fashion, lingerie, up to and including aesthetic nudes "playboy magazine" style. I don't usually shoot porn (or other sports). I most definitively will not do baby shoots. Call me old-fashioned. :-) In day-to-day life, I am an ICT consultant with Exite BV. I picked up an interest in model- and glamourphotography around the year 2005.

I was one of the earliest adopters of digital photography, paid a ridiculous amount for my first Nikon Coolpix 900 (and how crappy it was). In 2005 I bought my first digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR). Till then, I had only used point-and-shoot cameras. I was introduced to the principles of model photography in a number of workshops by Peter Rogier. My very first shoot was right away with Zo Vialet, a dutch top model. Talk about hitting the deck running... I learned a lot from Peter and Zoë, to both of whom I am very thankful.

I work with light and portable but highly professional equipment (I can carry almost everything simultaneously in one go). Cameras, lenses and flashes are by Nikon, light stands and tripods are by Manfrotto, soft box and backgrounds by Lastolite.

I do shoots on location as well as at my place.
I rarely if ever use a studio because there, you tend to end up making similar photos over and over. Unless you have the financial and material resources of a prof - which I don't.
